Both jugs of the hardener were VERY thick and viscous, like heavy molasses, when I opened them and poured (or rather, squeezed!) them out of the jugs. Once mixed together with the epoxy, the whole thing began to gel and set up very quickly. Barely had time to quickly mix, add color, and pour onto table and countertops. Did not spread as anticipated but rather started to gel up leaving large gaps of uncovered surface. We had to work feverishly to manually pull out the edges with a tool and encourage the product to keep moving to cover the surface and the lip of the countertop and table. It was a panic but we managed to get coverage finally, except for a few holes that I had to fill with thick product scooped out from the bottom of one of the color buckets which didnt level out completely (see picture - never intended to have big globs of red but that was all I had left to fill holes). And even though I mixed a total volume of product that exceeded what we should have needed for that total surface, we barely managed to get it covered.
