Flakes for epoxy flooring are used to enhance the appearance and texture qualities of high performance flooring systems and other surfaces. 

Recommended steps

1) Apply your initial epoxy resin base coat.

2) Right after you do the base coat, cover the whole floor with our high quality flakes.

3) After 8-12 hours, remove the extra flakes that did not adhere to the initial epoxy coating.

4) Apply a top coat of our Polyaspartic for an optimal resistance to UV, chemical spills and scratches. 

Coverage:

20lbs of flakes fully cover about 125 sq.ft. (perfect for a small room or a partial floor coverage). 

40lbs of flakes fully cover about 250 sq.ft. (perfect for a 1 car standard garage).

Base coat color recommendation 

Gravel: Light Grey solid color pigment base coat
Domino: Light Grey solid color pigment base coat
Night Blue: Light Grey solid color pigment base coat
Night Red: Light Grey solid color pigment base coat
Camo White: Light Grey solid color pigment base coat
Sandstorm: Tan solid color pigment base coat
Carbon Black: Black solid color pigment base coat

* You might notice that some flakes at the bottom became powderish, that is normal due to shipping and movement. We make sure to add a bit more flakes to compensate for this small loss.
